Refund policy
At Mirrors by Reflect®, we’re committed to looking after our customers while also being transparent about what we can and can’t offer as a small business. Every mirror is made and packed with care and while we’ll always take responsibility if something goes wrong, we do ask for understanding when it comes to change of mind returns.
Cancelling an Order
If you change your mind before your order has been dispatched, you’re welcome to cancel for a full refund (including shipping).
Just email us at hello@mirrorsbyreflect.com.au with your order number and cancellation request and we’ll take care of it promptly.
Returning After Delivery
If your order has already been shipped, we can still accept returns under certain conditions:
- Returns must be lodged within 7 days of receiving your order.
- The cost of return freight is covered by the customer.
- Products must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition they were received.
- Due to the fragile nature of oversized mirrors, returns sent without original packaging may not be accepted, or additional re-packaging and handling fees may apply.
- Our mirrors are shipped in specialised protective packaging designed to minimise the risk of damage during freight transit.
- Any items damaged during return transit may result in a reduced refund or the return being declined.
- A restocking fee may apply to change of mind returns.
- If you opt for a credit note instead of a refund, return freight still applies.
Important: Checking Your Product Before Installation
To avoid unnecessary costs or disputes, customers must check the SKU label, product dimensions and mirror design before installation.
If the mirror delivered does not match your order, you must notify us before installation takes place.
Once a mirror has been installed, it is deemed to be accepted and cannot be returned, refunded, or replaced for reasons relating to incorrect SKU, size, or design.
Custom Mirrors
Custom designs are crafted specifically for you, so they can’t be cancelled or returned unless they arrive damaged, faulty, or significantly different to what was agreed.
When We Cover Everything
If your mirror arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, that’s on us. We’ll organise the return, cover all costs and arrange a replacement or refund straight away. Please let us know within 24 hours of delivery by emailing hello@mirrorsbyreflect.com.au with your order number and photos so we can make things right quickly.
Sale & Discounted Items
Sale purchases are final and not eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind.
Discounts and codes can’t be applied retroactively or combined with trade discounts.
Promotions are valid during the advertised sale period only and cannot be applied to previous purchases, pre-orders, or orders already dispatched.
Our guiding principle is fairness. If we make a mistake, we’ll own it and fix it. If you simply change your mind, we’ll still support you with clear, upfront options. We want every customer to feel they’ve been treated with honesty, care and respect.
